About Karen Aguiluz, Restaurant Owner
Karen Aguiluz is a marketing professional who has worked for 3M ,Cargill and the Honduran Government. In her last job Karen became the Cultural Attaché in Madrid, Spain, for a 4-year term. Karen organized gastronomy festivals and other major cultural events throughout her tenure. In this capacity, she was charged with creating and maintaining budgets; marketing the events; and providing hospitality services for a wide range of clientele—from world leaders to local business owners and immigrants.
To further understand the business side of owning and operating a restaurant, Karen has been working with consultant Shannon Kring in the business planning of Luz de Luna.
